Every moment is a gift and each begins with not just
the potential, but the expectation of being the best one
Tie Dye is an excellent practice for developing the
ability to live in the now.

Why Tie Dye Guide?

I have been experimenting with tie dye and resists since the mid 1980s and find it to
be a joyful process. I stress the process and not the result.
While a beautiful artwork is rewarding, the encompassing creative process and
practice has wider reaching effects on my personal experience in the Universe.
By sharing my instructions and pictures I am extending that experience to shape our
world. Through tie dye, I have learned to live in the moment and relish the experience
or risk, through my attempts to master the moment, burying the joy that is already
present under a pile of “should have” or regret.
These tips and instructions are intended to help you, whether beginner or acolyte,
move past the reservations and into the joy of creation.
This site is under continuous reconstruction as of August 22, 2013. If there is something you are trying
to find that you’ve seen before, let me know and I’ll try to get to that next. Thanks for your patience.
